Project Criteria

CPF projects are selected using five principal criteria:

• Importance of cultural heritage or historical value affected;
• Clear need and feasibility;
• Lack of access to alternative international funding sources;
• Substantial potential for impact from limited, short-term funding; and
• Prospect for permanent or long-lasting impact.
